Disturbing new details about the death of a ...
10-year-old girl whose body was found in a trash can were outlined in court on Friday.
The father and stepmother of 10-year-old Emani Moss faced a judge Friday afternoon. The Gwinnett County parents are charged with the girl's murder.

Eman and Tiffany Moss showed little emotion as they appeared before a Gwinnett County judge for a probable cause hearing. It was their first public appearance since their arrest last weekend. That is when police found the girl's body stuffed in a garbage can. An autopsy revealed she died from prolonged starvation.
Detectives described a series of disturbing details regarding the girl's death during the hearing. Detective Collin Flynn said that Eman Moss came home on Oct. 24 and discovered Emani's body in the bathtub.
"He said that Tiffany was sitting down next to the body in the bathtub that Emani was seized up and not able to move her body inside the bathtub," Flynn said. "Eman told me that they put her in the bed on that day, which would have been Thursday and apparently they kept her there from that Thursday until the following Wednesday when she died."
Eman Moss told police that he did not feed the child in seven days and never called for help. The body weighed just 32 pounds.
"He never wanted to call an ambulance or take her to the hospital because Tiffany had the history of domestic violence against Emani and they were afraid that they would go to jail," said Flynn.
Flynn testified that Eman and Tiffany Moss hatched a plan to get rid of Emani's body. They bought a garbage can from Walmart and then they duct-taped and burned the 10-year-old's body.
"He said that the body didn't burn like he thought it would, that he thought it would burn to ashes but it didn't," Flynn said.
